PROVIDENCE COLLEGE MEN’S LACROSSE PROGRAM ANNOUNCES MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH EPOCH LACROSSE
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College men’s lacrosse program announced a multi-year partnership with Epoch Lacrosse today, October 27th 2020. Epoch Lacrosse, which also partners with the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and National Lacrosse League (NLL), will provide the Friars with customized gear for on-field use.
“We are so excited to partner with Epoch Lacrosse,” Providence College Head Coach Chris Gabrielli said. “Much like our program here at Providence College, Epoch is a brand that is growing stronger every year, while looking for ways to differentiate themselves from the competition. Current Epoch Athletes, like Jarrod Neumann, Matt Rambo and Josh Byrne to name a few, represent the best of the best in our sport. These athletes are helping Epoch’s hard goods products reach new levels of protection, comfort and performance. Epoch will no doubt provide our athletes with innovative hard goods that they will feel well protected in - and will be prepared to compete at the highest level. Epoch also will provide our program with elite customer service and custom products that we could not get anywhere else.”
In addition to Epoch’s partnerships with the PLL, NLL and various collegiate programs, the company also sponsors former Friar Jarrod Neumann ’17. Neumann recently completed his second season with Chaos LC of the PLL and has established himself as one of the best players in the sport. In his first season with the Chaos in 2019, he was tabbed Defensive Player of the Year, All-Pro and was selected to play in the PLL All-Star Game. At Providence College, Neumann earned USILA/Nike Second-Team All-America recognition and was named to the Inside Lacrosse Media All-America Third-Team. He also earned BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year, All-BIG EAST First Team, BIG EAST All-Tournament and NEILA All-New England First-Team accolades during his final season with the program in 2017.
